Museum Store Sunday 2019 takes place internationally on Sunday, December 1, 2019 with participation by more than 1000 Museum Stores representing all fifty states, fifteen countries, and four continents to date. Much more than a gift store, products sold in museum stores reflect the mission and programs of the museum or cultural institution in which they are housed. Items found in museum stores are curated and carefully selected — just like the works displayed in their respective institutions. Museum Store Sunday is the global annual day to Be a Patron – and shop conscientiously and support museum stores and their missions worldwide.
