Student Member Event: Get crafty at the Ackland!

October is Membership Appreciation Month at the Ackland Art Museum!

To celebrate our incredible student members, you’re invited to an exclusive crafting event on one of our closed days. Join us on Tuesday, October 20, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. to create crafts inspired by Phaan Howng: Against Nature, currently on view in our ART& space.

Inspired by Against Nature, this hands-on art activity features pressed flowers and other provided materials for creating unique bookmarks, magnets, and suncatchers to take home.

Student membership is free for all current UNC-Chapel Hill students and remains active through May 31 of your graduation year. Want to bring a friend who isn’t a student member? Have them sign up here!

This free, drop-in art-making activity is open to Ackland student members. No registration required, but if you can, please RSVP below so we can get an estimated headcount.

Free Halloween candy and art materials will be available while supplies last.
