Carolina Public Humanities is teaming up with the Ackland Art Museum
to explore the beauty of the natural world and the dynamic, multifaceted aspects of humanity during the Dutch Golden Age.

Join Dana Cowen, Sheldon Peck Curator at the Ackland Art Museum, and Carolyn Allmendinger, Ackland’s Director of Education and Interpretation, in a discussion of Nina Siegal’s historical novel The Anatomy Lesson and the Ackland’s upcoming exhibition, Drawn to Life: Master Drawings from the Age of Rembrandt in the Peck Collection at the Ackland Art Museum, featuring over seventy exceptional Dutch drawings from the seventeenth century, many previously unpublished and rarely exhibited.

Tickets: $30 per person (includes a copy of the book mailed to your home and light snacks). Seats are limited to 20 participants, so sign up early to reserve your spot! Tickets must be purchased on Carolina Public Humanities’ registration site or by calling 919-962-1544.
