We are thrilled to announce that our Annual Luncheon guest speaker will Suzanne Brennan Firstenberg. Firstenberg ’83 (MBA) is the social practice artist who created In America: Remember, an art installation of over 700,000 white flags on the National Mall in September 2021 to honor the lives lost to Covid-19. Her art draws viewers in with its beautiful aesthetic, then delivers a visceral message on themes ranging from political divide, to homelessness, to drug addiction. She is a proud Tar Heel, having earned an MBA from Kenan-Flagler. She believes that art communicates when words fall on unlistening ears.

Each ticket includes access to the pre-lunch social hour, beer and wine, and a three-course plated lunch. All proceeds benefit the Ackland’s public programs.
