Classes are led by instructor Allison Tierney. This month’s class we will look at portraits by Kira Nam Greene & Tim Lowly, whose works are featured in The Outwin: American Portraiture Today.… Free – $5 –  This program invites ten- to thirteen-year-olds to look at selected works in the Ackland’s collection and identify techniques that the artists used to make them. Gallery teacher Daniel Hammer demonstrates and teaches participants technical skills, which they can then apply to their own artistic creations.
